We already know for certain that the ancient Germans, Romans and Gauls were paganists. It is therefore no suprise that they would take the rituals associated with washing and bathing to extremities.

The church realised this: "One of the most stupid calumnies on the manners of the Catholic Middle Ages that bathing was forbidden, that it was seldom practiced, and the like." (Thomas J. Shanan, The Middle Ages: Sketches and Fragments). According to Shanan, this was a “stupid” rule of the church. But perhaps this was one of the times the Catholic Church saw the enemy trying to disguise himself. DECIDE FOR YOURSELF, IF YOU DARE.

NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE IS SOAP MENTIONED. Washing is prescribed in certain circumstances, but not sith soap. Any oils, minerals or animal products in soap OPENS AN UNWANTED DOOR TO YOUR SPIRIT.

We can not ignore the pagan origins of soap anymore. Have you noticed the downward spiral of norms and godfearing values in our society? Ever thought about the uprising in bath-oils, the wide varieties of soaps and excessive consumption of bathing consumables? On our TV screens and in our magazines we see and hear that our bodies are “gods and goddesses.” We are being told that we should “spoil ourselves” and indulge in self-time while bathing. Who, do you think, see to it that these messages are being proclaimed in these last days?

DO NOT BE BLINDED BY THE ENEMY. YOU CAN NOT BUY, MAKE OR USE SOAP. EVER. Unless, of course, you want to deny God.

Diepste Wese

Ja, jy sien reg. Hier's 'n foto van 'n cute katjie op my blog. As ek Bybeltekste kan quote, kan ek foto's van katjies plaas.

Dit is my diepste hartsbegeerte om 'n katjie te hê. Ek wil uit ons woonstel uit trek en huis koop, nét sodat ek 'n katjie kan kry. Die hoof van die huis voel weer so oor 'n papegaai. Wat my laat wonder: is ons nie dalk albei, in ons diepste wese, al is ons getroud, oujongnooiens* nie?

*Ek sal nog eendag iets skryf oor die kultuur wat van ongetroude vrouens "oujongnooiens" en van ongetroude mans "vrygeselle" ("old maid" vs "bachelor") maak.

Planaria

Wat is dit dié?


Dit, liewe vriende, is 'n planaria - 'n tipe flatworm wat in jou vistenk verskyn as genoemde vistenk ses maande laas skoongemaak is.
Hierdie wit, wriemelrige wurmpies lyk soos lewendige hare, maar is gelukkig skadeloos vir vissies. Wat my, arme mamma van genoemde vissies, natuurlik nie beter laat voel nie.
Dalk sal dr lammervanger vir ons meer inligting gee oor dié indringerwurm. Wat ek bv wil weet, is waar kom hulle vandaan? Lewe wat ontstaan uit niks?

Gepraat van

Een van die mites rondom MIV & Vigs wat my siek maak, is die hele idee dat dit 'n siekte is wat gay mans kry.


Wanneer gaan mense kliek dat vigs, veral in Afrika, 'n heteroseksuele siekte is?! En dat die groep in SA waaronder vigs tans die vinnigste toeneem, middelklas getroude mense is?

Hoe sê?

"As ek Vigs het en ek lyk fabulous is dit fine."

Dit is die uitlating wat een van my vriende gemaak het n.a.v. sommige van sy vriende se spekulasie dat hy MIV+ is omdat hy sleg lyk.
Hierdie is een van daardie stellings waarop jy net glad nie reageer nie, gewoon omdat jy nie weet waar om te begin nie.

Dit reën nie vreeslik gereeld of vreeslik hard in ons hoekie van die land nie. Wanneer dit die slag wel reën

Nadat daar vanoggend weer 'n massiewe (lees honderde) skool dolfyne verbygeswem het, deel ek graag die snappies* wat ek verlede week van my balkon af geneem het.
