ah - to live in a mill kind of world. wasn't he the one that did that 'what would you do if you walked into a strange town and came across a group of men about to be executed and the officer in charge said, you shoot one and all the rest go free'...would you do it?

I don't know whether i would...i'm not sure the argument allows such an ethical out. but then would you really shoot yourself? what if you had kids? they're criminals why shoot yourself? they're only going to shoot them all anyway? and they're criminals...
